Félicitations to our newest 2016 Franco-American Fellows! We are pleased to announce that additional funds have been raised to select two additional 2016 Franco-American Fellows, to join the four Fellows announced earlier.
The newest Fellows are: Payton Harrison, a student of Linda Bowling, Yukon High School, and whose research project is “Influence of Films”: and Tess Von Hemel, a student of Anne Chamberlain, Piedmont High School, and whose research project is “A French Perspective on French and Native American Relations.” They will be conducting their research in Crépy-en-Valois, in the Picardie region of France, at the Lycée Jean Monnet-Crépy-en-Valois.
The Alliance Français d’OKC would like to thank everyone who made contributions to the Franco-American Fellows Program and helped make it possible to send these two deserving students. Presentations of the Fellows’ research projects will be in late April or early May. All are invited to attend the presentations, which will be held at the Westminster Lower School.
