at OKCMOA’s Noble Theater

For one weekend only, Susan Claassen stars as Edith Head to bring you the “Reel Diva” behind the famed Hollywood costume designer. As fascinating as the history of the film industry itself, this intimate portrait of Edith Head is filled with ambition, wit, and, above all, glamour.

The play runs 90 minutes with no intermission. Seating is General Admission.

Tickets to this live theatrical performance (does not include exhibition admission) are $15 for members; $30 for non-members.

Summer Exhibition, Edith Head: Hollywood’s Costume Designer

Be sure to also visit the exhibit the summer exhibition, Edith Head: Hollywood’s Costume Designer which will be on view from June 22, 2024, through September 29, 2024. Organized by OKCMOA and presented by The Ann Lacy Foundation, this exciting retrospective of award-winning costume designer Edith Head (1897-1981) will feature 70 costumes that capture the height of Head’s career and were worn by stars such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Ginger Rogers, Shirley MacLaine, Veronica Lake, Barbara Stanwyck, and Kim Novak.

Edith Head Film Series: June 29-Sept. 28

From late June through the end of September, Museum Films will present fourteen beloved Hollywood classics featuring costumes designed by the legendary, eight-time Oscar winner Edith Head. Screening in the Noble Theater in conjunction with the Museum’s original blockbuster summer exhibition, Edith Head: Hollywood’s Costume Designer. Films include Rear Window, To Catch a Thief and Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
